China’s death toll due to Coronavirus is 1873 So Far

The death toll due to Coronavirus have reached 1,873 in China, according to a report by China’s National Health Commission. The report also said that out of the total 73,433 cases of Coronavirus infection, a total of 12,677 cases have recovered.

The latest data produced by the National Health Commission of China have recorded that Hubei province, the epicentre of the Coronavirus outbreak, has a total number of 59,989 affected cases of which the total death is currently 1,789 cases.

Meanwhile, it is also said that Chinese health authorities have asked the recovered patients to donate blood as the recovered patients have antibodies in their blood that can help decrease the virus loaded in the affected patients that are undergoing treatment.

The cases for Coronavirus came into light in December 2019 and WHO have explained that Coronaviruses (CoV) is a virus that can cause common cold as well as pneumonia. The novel Coronovirus (nCoV) is a new strain of virus that have affected the humans for the first time. Its siblings viruses have caused Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) in 2012 and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV) in 2002.

Coronavirus can be transmitted between animals and humans and thus, it is recommended to wash hands regularly, and cover the mouth while coughing and sneezing as well as cook the meat and eggs properly. WHO have also urged people to avoid contact with people who suffers from respiratory illnesses.
