Seasonally grown, locally produced foods are said to be nutritious, more organic and lighter on the pocket.

Cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, and broccoli are said to be rich in fibre and low in calories. These nutrient dense vegetables is said to aid in weight reduction while nourishing the body with essential vitamins and minerals.
Whole eggs, skinless chicken and fishes are said to be healthy and protein-rich. Protein intake isn’t only good for the hair and skin but is said to reduce cravings and thus aids to weight loss.
Sweet potatoes are said to be rich in fiber, vitamin A and is said to have low glycemic index and therefore doesn’t spike blood sugar levels. Not only it contains anti-oxidant and are highly nutritious, the fibre-content and low GI aids to weight loss.
Black beans and whole grains such as brown rice, oats and quinoa are said to be rich in fibre which increases satiety and thus aids in weight loss. Black beans is also a rich source of protein which helps in reducing cravings and thus leaving the body fuller for longer hours.
Seasonal fruits, although contain fructose, are rich in fibre and antioxidant that slow the spike of blood sugar levels.
